Snip, snip!

Just wanted to post some pictures of Rebekah's new hairdo. She's been wanting to cut it short for a while, but didn't want to give up her long hair. This time she decided it would be okay though. Dwayne and I keep doing double takes as the haircut seems to have aged her a couple of years. Now she looks old enough to actually start kindergarten next year.

The latest news on Nathan...we lowered the mattress in his crib this last weekend. Can you see why?
And Isaac is still just as cute as ever and yes...still driving mommy nuts."Cheese!"

A CARLOAD, A BLACK EYE, & A BLESSING

We had quite the weekend. My mom and I took six kids all under the age of six from Phoenix up to my parents house in Colorado City. My three plus Jake and Nicole's three who were down visiting their grandparents. (Nicole came up two days later with Dwayne we just didn't have any more room in the car! Plus it gave her more time to visit with her family.) Usually it's a seven hour drive, but it ended up being a little longer. =) We managed to make it with only two scheduled stops for potty, playtime, and food and two unscheduled for potty and the crankies! All in all the kids did great though.
While we were there Rebekah was playing with a claw hammer (which mommy asked her not to do) and managed to bounce it off a log and hit her eye. Luckily all it did was scare mom and grandma with the blood and give her a pretty good shiner.
The highlight of the trip was being able to see baby Elly (Elizabeth May Heaton my brother Jerris' little girl) blessed. They are such happy new parents and they LOVE their new little girl.
And the whole reason for the trip
was to be able to see both the new additions to the Heaton family. I just don't know which one is cuter! Elizabeth May (left) or Kaylee Isabella (right). Congratulations to the new mommies and daddies!

For Grandma: here are the rest of the pictures from the trip. Thought you might like to see some pictures of my mom's new house.

Swimming/Nathan Crawling

Can you believe that the kids wanted to go swimming already? Well they did and they FROZE their little toes! And yet they still keep asking to go back.

Nathan is just getting too big too fast. Can you believe he's crawling already? I can't.
